Hi, I'm Collin!
I am passionate about all things reptile, and have been a reptile owner and lover for almost a decade. My first reptile was my Colombian boa Jordan, who was a gift for my sixteenth birthday; he used to be able to fit curled up in the palm of my hand, and he is now over seven feet long and still growing!
I have over five years of experience working in the pet care industry, and I have a strong passion for wildlife conservation & education. I am a volunteer at the Minnesota Wildlife Refuge Center, and next year I will be attending the University of Minnesota for Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology.
Currently, my personal pet collection includes over fifteen different species of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and aquatics - and cats too! I understand how much work it can be to maintain a large animal collection, and how overwhelming it can feel at times. I hope to be able to make others' lives easier, and share my passion along the way!

What is JurassiCare?
JurassiCare is an in-home reptile and amphibian care service, providing feeding, tank maintenance, and general care guidance. Whether you are a veteran reptile keeper or new to the hobby, need a sitter for a weekend or looking for regular drop-ins, JurassiCare is here to meet you at your level. I offer flexible and judgement-free services to get your scaly family members the care they need.
What species do you care for?
I am able to provide care for a wide range of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and other similar exotics. I have direct experience with bearded dragons, leopard geckos, crested geckos, gargoyle geckos, blue-tongued skinks, boa constrictors, reticulated pythons, hognose snakes, corn snakes, ball pythons, kingsnakes, Amazon milk frogs, dumpy tree frogs, land snails, isopods, feeder insect colonies (such as crickets and dubia roaches), and more! I also provide limited care services for dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, freshwater fish, and rodents; please see my services page for more information.
How much does it cost?
The pricing varies depending on the quantity of animals being cared for, as well as the specific type and length of visit required. I also offer limited low-cost or free visits for those experiencing financial hardship, mental or physical health crises, or other extenuating circumstances. Are there any species excluded from care services?
At this time, I am unable to care for saltwater fish tanks. JurassiCare also does not provide services for venomous species, though I am pursing venomous handling certification and plan to provide care for these animals in the future.
How do I get started?
Please visit our contact page to set up an initial meet-and-greet! I can be reached via email, text message, or phone call. I'm looking forward to hearing from you, and am always happy to answer any other questions you may have!
What is your service area?
I am able to provide home visits in the greater Twin Cities area of Minnesota, in an approximate 30-mile radius from the Saint Paul Highland Park neighborhood. Services outside this area may be considered on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee; please contact me to discuss!
Do you provide veterinary care?
While I have experience with many common reptile health conditions, especially those resulting from improper habitat or diet, I am not a veterinarian, and am unable to make diagnoses, prescribe medications, or provide emergency care. If your pet has a health condition that I am not qualified to care for, I can help guide you in the right direction; I personally recommend Bush Lake Pet Hospital for reptile and exotic veterinary services.
